Hi team I am enjoying the free trial, and will likely continue into a paid subscription. I do have a question though, when I am signed into Roon on my laptop, I cant get audio on other apps. So for example, using Zoom, or watching YouTube.
I have to sign out of Roon and restart my laptop and then I get audio on those apps.
I dont want to have to do that every time I need to use an app that requires audio.
Is there a setting I change so that this doesnt happen?

You’re in good hands here! @Geoff_Coupe is correct in that you may need to seek out the devices specific to your laptop where you’re looking to play other sounds outside of Roon.
Thanks for helping, I hope this is the screen shot you wanted to see. Im only trying to play audio on my laptop, but when Roon is running, I get no audio on other apps on my laptop.
So what are the settings that you have defined on the System Output? On mine, I’m not seeing an “exclusive mode” setting for the System Output, and I’m not experiencing any issue with audio playing on all apps including Roon.
You could try disabling this audio device in Roon, and enabling the Reatek(R) Audio device as an alternative, to see if that sidesteps your issue. I have that device enabled and use it in Roon.
