Describe the issue

I‘m using Tidal only for discovery. If I like an album, I buy it and add it to my local Roon library. As I don‘t need hires audio most of my local stuff has less quality than what the streaming services offer. Thus, Roon will mark Tidal albums as primary. I have to set every album manually to prefer the local version (that‘s, why I bought it). That’s very frustrating. How do I force local versions as primary, even if it has less quality? Or is there at least a bulk mechanism?

I’ve moved your post from the Support category to the Roon Software Discussion category of the forum because it’s a “how do I do this…” question rather than a request for help with a technical issue.

AFAIK, there is no way to set multiple albums as Primary in one operation. The best that can be done is to identify which albums have duplicate versions (using Focus > Duplicates) and then manually set the Primary for each album.

Thanks for your reply and the tip with the duplicates. It will help a little bit. But it would be great to have more global control.
