Description of Issue

Hello, I would like to use Roon for my offline colection. My main goal is to be able to listen and edit playlists with Arc offline on my Android player.

The main problem that is currently present is that after adding certain tracks to Roon on Windows it picks up their titles but I have absolutely no additional information about releases, artists and most importantly album art.

I have added 133 tracks and at the moment Roon looks like this. I thought it needed some time to update the metadata but it’s been two days now and it looks exactly the same as before. The only thing that has appeared is a download icon, but the album art is there and not still being downloaded. The computer is connected to the Internet. Tell me what could be the problem?

I tested Amtrac “1987”, Alangii “Omen” and Affeleye “Maybe There”. Roon knows all three albums and has at least some metadata such as an album cover.

You say you added tracks. Are these individual tracks, and local files (not streaming)? If so, maybe that’s why Roon can’t identify the albums and hence doesn’t pick up the metadata.
