Issue with ROON Startup on macOS Big Sur 11.7.10 (ref#BEPFAL)

I am trying to start ROON. It keeps saying "Waiting for your Roon server" and then restarts. Roon server appears to be running. I'm onOSX Bir Sur 11.7.10

MacBook Pro. Orbi Router. Nothing else. It's always worked before

Am I right that Roon doesn’t actually offer support, but instead shunts questions off to other users in the community?

No that’s not correct, your support request it tracked on Roon’s support system, when it reaches the top of their queue it will be assigned to Roon support technician and they will respond to you here in this topic.

In the meantime some of more knowledgeable experienced Roon users may offer some initial advice.

Often this community advice is enough to solve a user’s issue and when it does it’s a win / win (the user’s issue is solved sooner and the Roon support team can move on to next issue in their queue).

Technical support doesn’t maintain a presence on the forum over the weekend, but we do respond to all requests as received. We’re tracking a regression affecting MacOS-based RoonServers and your symptoms match the descriptions we’re investigating.

Roon will post updates conspicuously on the forum once we have specific additional information to share from QA and development. Than you for your patience.
