· After updating to Roon 2.70 build 1671 my Hegel H150 RAAT endpoint shows "Sample Rate Conversion 44.1 → 105.47 kHz" although:
MUSE is completely disabled
DSP is off
Hegel front panel still reports 44.1 kHz
DAC Loop path remains Lossless

That is exactly as Hegel designed it, nothing to be done about it and it is what it is.
Please contact Hegel if you are unhappy with their design.

How do you have the audio zone settings?

If it is tidal 96/24 I dont think it would downsample to 44.1.
What did it do with same 96/24 before the latest update?
I thought it was always known that Hegel doing this happened since the marketing manager came on this site and told the world that their secret sauce was all of their lower end streaming DACS auto upscaled everything to its maximum settings.
That was not long before Roon Ready was available after years of delay. This is not a Roon issue, but a Hegel feature from what I remember of the description
OK, then this is not a bug but a feature ;-)…it’s just that before version 2.7 this wasn’t visible in the signal path… after all, I don’t use an external R2R tube DAC because it sounds nicer… then I’ll let this problem go. Thanks for the help!
