Does the issue affect all file formats?

· The issue affects *multiple/all* file formats.

Does the issue still occur with all Digital Signal Processing (DSP) disabled in MUSE?

· Removing DSP has no effect. I'm still having the same problem.

Does the issue happen with local library music, streaming service music, or both?

· *Both streaming and local* *library* music are affected.

Do you encounter any playback errors with the "System Output" Zone?

· I don't have a System Output available, but I'd like to keep troubleshooting

· Any Song, Any Time

What are the make and model of the affected audio device(s) and the connection type?

· Sonos Amp, 2022 | Loewe KlangBar 2024

Describe the issue

Nucleus One:

Grouped streaming to a Loewe KlangBar (Airplay2) and 2 Sonos Amps (also Airplay2) starts in sync but increasingly gets out of sync with time.
When pressing pause or stop, the music immediately stops on the Loewe KlangBar but the 2 Sonos Amps continue playing for 1-2 seconds and then stop.

Compatability Mode was tried but did not work. As the devices are brand new and support Airplay2, this shouldn't be the issue anyway.

Describe your network setup

Nucleus → Ethernet → TP Link Extender | 2 Sonos Amps → WiFi

Hi @bernhard.lichtenegge ,

Thanks for your message.

Can you please provide a few more specific examples (name of track, time + date)? This can help us by activating diagnostics for your account to look over the logging to try to find the instance and seeing if there are any further clues there, thanks!

Hi Noris,
Here is an example:

16:15:
James Taylor: „Today, Today, Today“

After about 20 seconds of playtime, it was out of sync.

Best regards,
Bernhard

Hi @bernhard.lichtenegge,
We tired to activate diagnostics on your server but the request was unable to go through. Can you please use the directions found here and send over a set of logs from your server to our File Uploader?

Ok. The files have been uploaded.

Hey @bernhard.lichtenegge,

Thanks for sharing a set of server logs! We’re seeing repeated packet loss around the time you’ve mentioned:

Trace: [.NET ThreadPool Worker] [airplay/client] server lost 1 packets starting at seq 21701
Trace: [.NET ThreadPool Worker] [airplay/client] server lost 1 packets starting at seq 57475

Followed by the stream dropping altogether:

Info: [Worker (2)] [audio/env] [zoneplayer -> stream] All streams were disposed

And continuous dropping of network allocation to your zones and server:

Info: [Worker (1)] FTMSI-B qo/4F0E49E0: allocated bw changed from 51200 to 0 kbps

We believe your issues are due to a poor and unstable network connection. As a next step in troubleshooting, please simplify your setup temporarily, and bypass both the extender, as well as wifi in general. Test getting a direct hardwire connection from your primary router to both your Nucleus as well as your airplay2 devices, and see if you run into the same issues.

We’ll be on standby for your results! :+1:
