· I am accessing the following web URL from both laptop connected to home wifi and from smartphone connected to mobile network, the issue persists in both cases:

The same issue for the same artist I already had one week ago but thought its just a temporary glitch.

Another screenshot attached, no matter what kind of image I upload, it still fails at the “Confirm and submit“ stage.

Hi @my_changed_username,

Thank you for your report. What is the name of the artist with which you’re having this issue? Can you share the image you’re attempting to upload here using this media uploader? The team isn’t able to reproduce this behavior using the same URL. Worst case, we’ll add it to Valence for you while we investigate this issue. In the meantime:

Does this persist if you don’t crop the image?

Just for due diligence, please ensure you’ve disabled content blockers and try a different browser.

Artist name: zakázanÝovoce

I dont know how to upload files to Valence without cropping them but I uploaded three images via your link (Roon Media Uploader).

The issue only happens with this artist and keeps persisting, tried to rename the files even… nothing helps. I uploaded and cropped images for hundreds of artist in Roon Valence without issue before.

If I succeed with the upload, will let you know. But if you can upload on my behalf (so that maybe I can try to crop the uploaded images later), it would be awesome.

Thanks @my_changed_username, we’ve been able to upload these images for Valence approval on your behalf without cropping. In one case, we had to re-export a file to delete some tiff data that seems to have been preventing upload.

We’ll keep this thread open until the images have cleared review and let you know. Thank you!

How can I access the uploaded images? I see no images uploaded when i search for the artist…

OK, it seems like that the original three images I am now able to upload cropped on my own, as below screenshot.

Some additional image I tried to find, download and then upload to Valence does not work though. Guess some higher powers are at play here :slight_smile:

It would be great to upload at least one more image so that I can set it as Avatar image for the band.

Hi @my_changed_username,

Images uploaded to Valence are subject to approval, so it can take some time before they’re publicly visible.

First try exporting the file as a fresh .png or .jpg from Preview or another jpg editor to remove any TIFF data, etc, that might be corrupting the image.

If that doesn’t work, you can upload the avatar here, and we can submit it to Valence on your behalf.

The issue seems to be resolved. As said previously, was able to upload the originally attempted 3 images + today was able to upload additional ones, as per the above screenshot. Just awaiting their approval.
