Issues Playing to Chromecast and Chromecast Audio [Solved - Update to Build 334]

I’m also having problems getting my Chromecasts playing.

Roon Core version 1.5.333 running on macOS 10.13.5 High Sierra.

Same issues on Chromecast and Chrome cast Audio. Regular Chromecast show Roon logo with spinning. Chromecast Audio makes the “connect sound” and then nothing.

Both visible under Audio in roon client. When clicking Enable the Chrome casts reacts as described above.

Checked the Log files for roon and I see things like this when clicking Enable:

07/06 20:29:20 Warn: [web] Received Get request for /web/cast.js, but webroot = null. Returning 500
07/06 20:29:20 Trace: [web] /web/cast.js => 500 in

We have just released build 334 that we believe fixes the issue you are experiencing, please update your Roon Core to b334 and let us know how it goes. I look forward to your reply!

Build 334 resolved my issues. Works great on both ChromeCast Audio and tv. The warnings in the logfile are also gone, as far as I can se.

Great that you brought Chromecast support to Roon.
