Edit: Recent activity Played has not updated since yesterday, Feb 23rd. Other then Recent activity issue everything seems normal, music is playing without interruption. I did power cycle the NUC8I7BEH/ROCK, no change and none was expected.
Added another album this morning and it is showing up as Added today. Selected the album to play and it did appear under Played.
Same issue here, for many weeks already. Recent activity - Played section not updating, even after several reboots of NUC with ROCK and killing the iPad app. Music plays fine and played count of tracks update normally. Also, the Added section updates correctly. Queue history is also correct.
Interesting note: all of the 35 albums listed as being added on Feb 23rd are from Qobuz.
I’ve gone from thinking this could be catalog corruption to wondering if it was somehow related to the Cloud issue.
As I recall on the day this happened, when I started Roon Remote on Windows Laptop I got the message the Qobuz login failed. Hit the retry button and the Qobuz error message went away then the Tidal login failed message appeared. Retry worked.
I believe that is when I noticed the albums shown in Recent activity as being added today had been in my library for a long time. The first four albums were added since the issue appeared to verify it was working then there are 35 albums showing Added 3 days ago.
Our QA team has kindly requested a copy of your Roon database to reproduce this internally.
If you’re willing to share your DB for the purposes of this investigation, at your convenience, please first follow these steps to locate your RoonServer folder housing the database.
Next, compress (.zip) the entire RoonServer folder and upload it to this secure database uploader.
Alternatively, if you’ve created a Roon Backup since these albums were re-added, you can instead upload the Backup to the same uploader.
Please let us know if we can answer any questions and thank you for your patience.
Will do but, I havent had a need to access the files on the NUC since I moved to a Windows 11 laptop. I have not made the required changes to Windows 11 to get access to the NUC, guess its time. Or I’ll wake up the old Win 10 laptop which does have access.
