Roon display on LG TV using Chromecast

Can you please share more details about your problem and the model of your TV and Web OS version installed on it ?
I would like to let you know that some older LG TVs with old Web OS might not have Chromecast at all.

I have a LG 75QNED85TUA 2024 with WebOS 25 software release. This release was just recently installed when I noticed the problem with Roon not seeing Chromecast on the LG TV. Roon, Chromecast and LG TV worked fine on WebOS 24. Roon saw the Chromecast display and automatically turned on the TV and displayed the art work seamlessly.

Forgot to mention that the Chromecast is “built-in” on the LG TV. Not sure is this is also related to Google Chromecast issues or Google Cast now built-in to LG WebOS 25.

Could you please provide your step-by-step process you usually follow to set up the display with Roon?
What happens if you attemp to set up a web display using your LG? Here’s more info on that:
If you haven’t yet, please safely stop Roon Server from running, and reboot your Roon Server machine as well as your Roon remotes, and let me know if you run into the same issue.

I click on setting gear and display from Roon App. Chromecast does not appear anymore since LG WebOS 25 was installed.
