Describe the issue

I'm facing two issues with the recent updates:
1. I usually scroll through the history of songs I played and once in a while I switch to current playlist and when I navigate to the previous page(which is history) it takes me to the top of the history list instead of taking me back to where I left(This is working fine earlier). This is something working fine if I'm switching between a playlist and current play queue.
2. When I have a list of songs in the queue, after it completes playing the song, the same songs are added to the queue again automatically, looks to me like a bug introduced in the latest release. This is quite a hassle since I need to keep deleting the songs from the current queue or the songs keep repeating while playing.

Have you accidentally turned on 'the queue looping feature:

As you click it, it rotates through three states:

Thanks @Wade_Oram for the quick help.

Any idea on the issue related to the history, the history page is refreshed all the time even when I hit the back navigation button instead of taking me to the previous state of the history.

I think that, whenever you navigate to the history page (whether using the ‘previous’ page or directly by selecting ‘History’), it always shows you the most recent history.

This may not be ideal for you, the way you use it, but, bearing in mind that the UI navigation history is multiple levels deep and retained indefinitely, it probably makes most sense for a couple of reasons:

  1. The UI could have been resized in the meantime (at least on desktop clients) and so getting the same view is impossible - the best that you could expect would be to get a view with the same history element at the top of the view (or maybe the same history element at the bottom) - but is that what you want?
  2. The time elapsed between the two could be extensive. Does it make sense to show you a page of the history that you were viewing hours or even days before? I would postulate, that for most people, it does not - even if it does (kind of - except for point 1 above) for your particular use case.

If this is important to you, I think you should create a new post in Feature Suggestions where others can vote on it and Roon staff will see it.

It is certainly not a support issue because there is nothing ‘wrong’ with the behaviour. It is just not what you would like or expect.
