iTunes library failing to import

Hello,

Roon has imported the files that are outside iTunes fine but is failing to import my iTunes library. It is stuck saying ‘Scanning now…’.

I am running Roon 1.0 Build 30 on OS X 10.10.4 on a 2014 iMac. The iTunes version is 12.2.1.16. The library is located in the default location on the internal drive.

Hi @mackiewalker – sorry for the slow response here.

We’re aware of some issues with our iTunes watching at the moment. I’d be happy to take a look at your logs directly, and then I can confirm the problems you’re experiencing are same ones we’ve already fixed for our forthcoming 1.1 release.

For now, you may want to just set up a watched folder that looks at your music files directly. Roon won’t import your iTunes playlists in that configuration, but the import should work fine.
