my itunes is on mac hard drive. my songs are on an attached playlist. I can’t see them. what should I do. both are listed in roon

This knowledge base article explains how you could get your iTunes playlist into Roon in every detail - I would strongly recommend to read it to avoid any confusions.
In short - you need to place iTunes XML file in the folder where your media files are located and after that add this folder as a watched folder in Roon.
