Jump through your browse history

Roon is great for browsing your music collection. Following the links you jump from artist to album to artist, till you ask yourself ‘how did I end-up here?’. You can see by repeatedly pressing the back button, but wouldn’t it be nice if you could see your browse history by long pressing the back button (or by right clicking it)? Just like you do in a typical web browser.

The page type, like Album, Artist, etc., can be indicated by an icon followed by the page title, as shown at the top of each page. You can of course jump back to a page by selecting the entry. After that you can jump forward again by long pressing the forward button and selecting a forward entry.

This is how it could look like:

A nice idea. Do you think it should be specific to each control device or user?

Coool. Didn’t know you can do that in the browser…

For me each control device.

It will (at least) be specific to the control device. I don’t know how the current browse history behaves while switching between users.

This request is basically a visualization of already available data within the control device.
