KEF EGGS not showing in Roon after update (ref#ACF6HD)

Describe the issue

After last update, my KEF EGGS won't show anymore. if i go to settings > audio , i don't see KEF EGG, neither i cant re-add it. the speakers are working correctly with the computer.

i just use a Google wifi with a switch and a server with Roon core. all wired. the keff egs are connected to a desktop PC that use roon as client that connect to roon core.

Thanks for your message. Can you please confirm, if you try to restart your Roon Server, Roon Desktop PC Bridge and KEFs by powering off, unplugging 30s, powering back on, does that help with the issue?

Just to confirm here, does this mean that System Output also works as expected as a source in Roon for that PC? And if you set the System Output to the KEFs (in the Windows interface), the sound correctly gets sent to the KEFs?

Yes, I have restarted, disconnected, and the issue has not been resolved.

Regarding your question, System Output does not appear in Roon either.
If I select KEF EGG as the System Output on the PC (in the Windows interface), it works correctly.

What happens if you temporarily disable your Windows firewall and reboot Roon on the desktop? Are you able to see your audio devices normally?

It was indeed the Windows firewall. I disabled it, and everything started working again.

Hi Ignacio,

Fellow User here; You want to have the Firewall running for security, so you need to add exceptions for RoonServer, Raatserver, and Roon.
