KEF LS50W not playing audio with Roon OS 2.0 Build 1480 (on ROCK)

My Setup: ROCK installed on NUC > KEF LS50 Wireless > Roon client (on my android / iPhone / Mac). Library is on Synology NAS (server, storage and speakers are connected via ethernet)

Recently after upgrading to build 1480, the speakers are not playing the audio via wirelessly. It connects and switches on / off though. The audio doesn’t come. I have tried reinstalling Roon OS.

Once, I heard the audio playing much later than when I actually played the song but the controls were completely out of sync (the audio controls were paused, but the audio was playing, I couldn’t sync further, had to switch off the speaker).

I can only single out the issue with the new build which was updated recently, based on the following test cases.

Tested and verified:

  • KEFLS50W: I tested the KEF stream app (which also connect wirelessly to the speaker) and it worked perfectly fine.

  • Bluetooth Audio directly via client with Foobar2000 - works fine with my library

Is there a way to downgrade to a previous build, so I can pinpoint the issue to the build 1480?

My Bad! There was no issue with the Rock OS,

It was my mistake in changing the Max Sampling Rate (PCM) setting from 96Khz to 192Khz (upto).

It’s working again after I changed this back.
