KKBox playlist not syncing with Roon (ref#IJXSV1)

I’ve used Roon for 2 years, and since I change the song provider from Tidal to KKBOX, the issue start to annoy me.

The issue is it will randomly delete all my library sometimes, I’ve to manually backup my whole library to prevent all my library lost.

And it just annoying, which make me to repair the library myself every 2~3 days.

I found a rule that, once I open the playlist which created by KKBOX, the whole library system in Roon will sudden disappear.

Restart the Roon App, even restart the server (Mac Studio) doesn’t help it to repair. I have to take time to import the backup file again and again.

Not only this action will lead to the issue, some unknown action will also lead to the same issue.

Such as Sleep the Mac Studio, or even I didn’t do anything, it just happen.

The attached files are the library number compared between the issue happen before and after.

Thanks for reaching out to us for help with this issue. I activated diagnostics on your Roon server. KKBOX seems to think you are not signed in properly. Please try the below steps.

  • Exit out of Roon
  • Find and open your Roon database
  • Navigate to /Library/Roon/Cache
  • Move the contents of the /Cache folder elsewhere, like your desktop
  • Try restarting Roon and verify if the issue still occurs
