I just configured NUC7i7BNH and installed ROCK on it. Here is the configuration:
1 x Kingston ValueRAM (1x, 8GB, DDR4-2400, SO-DIMM 260 pin)
1 x Seagate BarraCuda (2TB, 2.5", Notebook)
1 x Samsung PM961 (128GB, M.2 2280)
Works great! Except the copy from Synology NAS to Storage (HDD), which is extremely slow (5-6MB/s). Changed cables, and changed location; I connected NUC to the router now, and the NAS is directly connected to the router, and again speed is the same (circa 6,20 MB/sec). I use my PC, which is again connected to the same router via cable. Before, I tried copying files from NAS to NUC Storage from Explorer on a PC via WiFi and the speed was 12-14MB/sec.
Copying a large file (3GB) from PC to NAS via cabled connection is quite quick, I see speeds like 90 to 140 MB/sec.
Anyone has similar experience? Is there any option BIOS should be configured to allow for higher speeds, or a driver that should be installed?

RESOLUTION: I updated the LAN driver on the PC and speed increased to 90-130MB/sec.
