Describe the issue
since the update of my laptop to widows 11 roon added my laptop as second device and I can not delet it
If your Windows 11 machine is showing alongside your K50 then Roon Server is still running on it.
Quit Roon Server from running following the provided guide and also make sure that “Launch on startup?” is deselected.
If it’s running then it should be visible in the apps running in the background section of the Taskbar - you may need to click on the ^ to make the whole list visible. E.g.:
Presumably because you’d used Task Manager to end the task previously. I suspect that if you reboot your PC then it will come back again because you’ve got the “Launch at startup” still checked in the Roon Server menu…
And if you are still getting the “you need a second subscription” message when you try and sign on to the correct Roon Server, just click the “Unauthorise” button. The License Server in Roon Labs HQ still thinks that you are using the Roon Server that you have closed.
Look, if you get a screen like this when you try and connect to your K50 server, just click the Unauthorize button. The Roon Labs license server thinks that your licence is active on your Desktop PC, so you click the Unauthorize button to transfer your Roon licence to the K50 server.
