Here’s the status of these reports and their internal investigations on our side:

  1. We have a ticket in the queue for the Android Auto issue you reported here. This is likely going to be resolved in a later release. Since you’re not currently using ARC, we will allow this thread to close, but please keep an eye on the release notes here, where we’ll eventually announce a fix, in case you want to try again.

  2. Engineering has a separate investigation for the memory issues you’ve reported. They’re making progress. We’ll follow up there on the dedicated thread once we have more information.
