Last.fm fails to login

Core Machine (Operating system/System info/Roon build number)

Windows PC, 1.8 (build 778)

Description Of Issue

Created a new Last.fm account. When I got to login in profile settings, it fails to login. I’ve checked very carefully that I’m using the correct username and password.

I may have different settings than you, but when I initially logged in it sent a link to my phone to validate, perhaps check you phone

I don’t have multi-factor authentication set up for either Roon or Last.fm.

Hi @Aidan_Irish

Can you confirm that you’ve “verified” your account and everything from Last.fm (typically an email is sent to you at signup to do this).

If you have, can you confirm that you’re able to log in with the same credentials from the an incognito browser on the Windows PC you’re using as your Core?

Hey Dylan, thanks for your response. I just figured it out. I’ll write out the instructions for my solution:

  1. Go to your Last.fm account settings
  2. Navigate to “Applications” tab
  3. From here you can see all the applications that are currently connected to your Last.fm account, remove Roon
  4. Go back to Roon and login to Last.fm

That did it for me.
