I noticed lately that Roon scrobbles completely wrong, multiple times the same song and also it pushes the lesson time into the future. So on Last.fm IC scrobbles which are one hour from now. Can any body help?
From my end, Roon is scrobbling correctly. I’m not sure whether you’re playing your music through a streaming service, but if so, and if scrobbling is enabled there as well, Last.fm may end up scrobbling twice.

I’m not experiencing any problem either.
From experience I do know that you may end up with double scrobbles when stopping playback mid-track and them restarting it a bit later. Although I’m not sure, I believe a scrobble is registered after 1 min of playback.
Other potential sources I can think of:
- Multiple zones playing independently of each other
- Timezone settings of device running Roon
- Timezone settings in Last.fm
From my end, I did not change anything. I am using a streaming service Qobuz, and I am listening as normal. The wrong scrobbeling started yesterday. I’m using this set up for years now and everything worked well but suddenly it changed.
I have had this problem multiple times in the past and raised tickets with Roon support. I also had an issue where other Roon profiles would scrobble to the last.fm account setup in only my Roon profile.
Neither issue has ever been fixed as far as I know. The only work around I have found is to remove and re add your last.fm accounts in each affected Room profile.
