Liberty DAC MQA works with Tidal but not Roon

When I set up Roon for liberty DAC I do not get MQA to come across. If I use TIDAL directly to the DAC the MQA comes across. I have the settings I have below. I have tried Convert to PCM, render only, decode only but nothing seems to work. I have tried with USB cable and then toslink. No success.
MAC mini 2014 with i5 2.6 and 8 gig ram. Running OS 10.12.6

Hello @Jack_Jordan,

Please try setting the Volume Control to “fixed volume”. DSP volume control is not compatible with MQA playback.

I will give that a try, Is there an option to have volume control on the ipad and use MQA?

Hello @Jack_Jordan,

Only if the device supports the USB HID Volume Control method. The Mytek Liberty does not implement this protocol.
