· Running Nucleus Titan connected by wired Ethernet to Meridian 218 and DSP 5200 HC speakers. Every time my Nucleus does a back up it loses roughly the last six months of saved albums from QOBUZZ. I can restore them manually from an earlier Backup but they disappear again the next time Roon does its own backup.
Hey @Terence_Unter,
Thanks for reaching out and providing your report. I’m sorry to hear you’re experiencing issues with Qobuz content disappearing.
It’s interesting that this only happens when a fresh backup is made. If you restore from the new backup that triggered the missing albums, do they reappear correctly? Or is it only your older backups that restore the library as expected?
Please bring your Nucleus back online and recreate the issue. Share a more specific date and time when it occurs, and we’ll take another look. Thank you!
Thanks for responding. I am currently restoring the backup that Roon did at 2am today to see what happened. It is 21:12 US East Coast time).
The restore is complete 21:15 and the problem has occurred again. Albums added after 24 Oct 2025 have disappeared.
I am now going to restore from a backup that I did manually yesterday at 10.50:18. This has restored the missing albums.
Do you want me to do anything else to help you diagnose this issue?
I just forced a manual backup and I still see all of the albums: done at 21:33:32
Roon ran a back up at 02:00 this morning and months of recent additions to the library seem to have disappeared again but on further study of the library (using “sort by date added”) I have found some of them which now do not show a “date added” when I select them and some, which have been in the library for a long time, show a date added of March 22 2026 ….so they are not in the actual chronological order of when I originally added them. This is VERY frustrating since I use that sort for most of my listening.
Hey @Terence_Unter,
Thanks for the update!
This is very likely the core of your issue here, as it’s unfortunately a known issue specifically with Qobuz content that is affecting multiple users.
The good news is that our team is already aware of this issue and is investigating potential solutions. Unfortunately, restoring a backup will only help until Roon re-syncs with your Qobuz account post restore, which will then break the date-added to certain Qobuz content.
We don’t have any immediate next steps, unfortunately, but many users have found a good-enough workaround for the time being, which is to access your Albums via Qobuz>My Qobuz in Roon.
Thanks for your ongoing patience in the meantime
Thank you. I am hoping for a solution soon!!
