I scheduled the maintenance of my library for the period between 5 - 9 AM. However it’s happening at the middle of the afternoon (today around 18:45 Portuguese and London time), interrupting the music streaming for minutes. What should I do?
@Jose_de_la_Cerda Does your Roon library settings look similar to the following?
If so, what does your Roon Server log show soon after 5 am? Look for lines that begin with the following:
Trace: [dbperf]
Info: [query stats]
Similarly, what does the Roon Server log show is happening with dbperf and query stats in the afternoon hours?
On-demand audio analysis speed is set to “fast”. Should I change it to “Throttled”?
@Jose_de_la_Cerda change the setting to throttled and share your experience with the slower speed. Question remains what sort of music library updates Roon is doing that may be causing mid-afternoon lagginess.
Done.
I’ll check if it solved the problem, on the next two or three days.
Then I’ll be back here and let you know.
Thank you very much, Dadoo.![]()
silly thought BUT is the clock on the server correct ???
I don’t know, Mike.
How can I check it?
Hi again Dadoo. Unfortunately it happened again at 22:43 PM this time.
I can’t remember how to access the Roon log from Windows 11. I can’t find it through the Explorer. Can you help, please.
@Jose_de_la_Cerda create a Technical Support Request so the Roon professionals can help you track down the issue and get needed diagnostic information.
OK. I’ll do it. Thanks.
