· In ARC on Android Auto my library is not fully listed so the letter search does not have all the letter enabled. In my case A - F are enabled and then T, W. Its like it has not fully synch'd my library list from the server. Hence the letter search only the artist/track/albums it knows about.

What you’re seeing is a consequence of scroll limitation in the Android Auto head unit itself. This is a safety feature hard-baked into most head units. The notion is to prevent distraction from scrolling during driving.
Head units usually limit the list of displayed items to about 100-400. Depending on library size, this can limit an alphabetic sort to a shortened list, omitting certain letters entirely. It’s frustrating, and we’re unfortunately not able to engineer the app around it, since it’s at the level of the head unit itself and touches safety compliance.
The workaround that auto-makers and phone manufacturers are trying to encourage with this behavior is to rely on voice command, or to have another passenger control the phone directly. This might not be your desired workflow (I’m quite visual myself), but ARC does support voice control.
OK, that makes sense. Is it possible then to have the letter search match the servers so the letters are enabled if there is an artist/album/track starting with that letter? Then, when clicked, you jump to that letter, and it fetches that letter’s item block for display. This would still be constrained by the limitation you have outlined, and also means you need to be online for that to work. Just a thought
