Hi! What’s not quite right with Roon?

· Music won’t play or issues with my library

Tell us what's going on

· Following installation of v2.61, library scanning running permanently, apparently stuck on file 1/238. Roon is working normally, with around 43K tracks in library. Settings/Skipped Files showed around 40 incompatible files (all .m4a) these were manually removed, but made no difference to the 'stuck scanning issue.'

· TP-Link AX 53, mix of wired & Wifi 6. 2 Netgear unmanaged switches.

Hi, I have the same issue after upgrading to v2.61 yesterday. I’ve upgraded again today to v2.62 but the problem remains, in my case stuck rescanning files 1/7. Playback seems to be working ok though.

I’ve cleaned up my library (only 13 tracks deleted) and checked Settings/Skipped Files (nothing there) but issue remains. My library is around 6000 albums.

I noticed a thread in the Early Access section ‘[Ticket In] B1625 and B1632 Never ending spinner’ which seems to show the same issue.

The link @Rob_Pearce could definitely be related to the issues you’re having. Our team just released a fix in the latest early access update that should fix these issues.

If you’d like to migrate your server and remotes over to early access to give it a try, I’ll share a link below. Otherwise, the next production release should also contain the fix. :folded_hands:
