If I select albums > Edit Metadata Preference > Track’s Import Date: File Creation Date and commit, the library saves the changes very slowly, and it’s taking hours for about 900 albums to update after the UI goes away.
Instead of the albums being pushed to the back of my library almost immediately as was the behavior in 1.7, I see Roon re-adding the albums one by one and re-analyzing the songs. This used to just apply the date change and move the albums to the creation date in my library. Now it’s taking hours and playback and connection to the core continually drops.
It also occurs with single albums.
