· I use Roon and Tidal. When I “clear upcomig” Roon will select another similar song to play for me. Tonight my genre was Blues. I get 5 songs from a single album, and that’s it. 18 million albums on Tidal, and Roon is exhausted after 5 tracks? So how is this supposed to work, this co-existence between Tidal and Roon Radio. How do I tell Tidal I want a more diverse response to the radio function. by the way, this is not similar to te existing 2020 topics with the same title.

· I don't think any of the technical detail matters, it is a functional question. Running latest Roon 2.71 1683 on an i7 ROCK
We have a few questions to ensure we understand this report in its full detail.
First off, was Roon Radio limiting itself to your Roon library? This is a toggle option in the Queue screen at the bottom under the three-dot menu (limit Roon Radio to library). If toggled on, Roon will only select similar content from what you’ve actually added to Roon, rather than scan Tidal’s full catalog. Looking at diagnostics, your Roon collection has only twelve Tidal tracks, which would explain the repetition from a single artist. See here:
What did you initially click “play” on when you started listening to music before these bad suggestions occurred? That will be the “seed” track from Roon’s perspective, and it will be what we need to examine how these recommendations went so poorly.
today it was Bob Marley (baylon by bus), and after a while I just clear Upcoming. That gives me about 20 more Bob Marley tracks, interspersed with 1 UB40 and 1 Wailers. Not much diversity there.
Thank you for the detail, and for the seed track and results, which is exactly what makes a report like this usable rather than just another voice saying Radio repeats.
Your settings screenshot ruled out the first explanation we offered: Limit Roon Radio to library is off, so Radio has the whole TIDAL catalog available and the twelve TIDAL tracks in your library are not the cause.
We have passed your feedback to the product team, along with your example. Repetition and narrowness in Roon Radio is something they are already looking at.
Being straight with you, there is nothing we can do from support to improve the suggestions you are getting, and we are not going to give you a date for when this changes. So we will close this thread rather than leave it open with nothing happening in it.
If Radio behaves in a way that looks like a fault rather than a matter of taste, for example it stops unexpectedly or refuses to start after an album ends, please do open a new thread. That is something we can act on.
