Linear power supply

A good LPSU has got to be great at rejecting incoming noise and generate very little itself. How will you know whether the LPSU is any good?

If you look at most of the Chinese LPSU’s they tend to be clones of proven designs or nicked off DIYAudio or similar sites. Consequently they tend to be sound performers. But the only way to tell is to take the gamble. I think bigger issues revolve around electrical safety.

I’d agree, but a LPSU that doesn’t filter incoming noise and/or generates noise itself is a fruitless endeavor.

You are preaching to the converted.

I use the Teddy Pardo because my NUC was directly connected to my DAC via USB. It did help with noise. Now I have the USB to Matrix SPDIF 2 using HDMI to my I2S input on the DAC. I like that even better. I use the USB to power the Matrix.
