Linn DS and Airplay zones keep disappearing

Hi,

I am having trouble configuring Roon to work with a Linn Akurate DS and Airplay devices reliably. When I look at the zone list, the Linn player is hardly ever there and the airplay devices more often but not reliably.

Draytek Router
MacOS Roon Server
Linn Akurate DS
Various Airplay devices

All with the latest software and all with ethernet connections.

Thanks for the post here, I have a few follow-up questions:

  • Can you please share a screenshot of your Roon Settings -> Audio Tab?

  • Have you made sure to add both Roon and RAATServer as exceptions to your OSX firewall? You can check this by using these instructions.

  • Are you making use of any Antivirus applications or firewall blocking software which could be interfering with Roon? In the past, we have seen similar symptoms with Bullguard, Little Snitch, McAfee, ect.) and confirming if any of these are running will be a good step.
