My opinion is that if you believe that you perceive a difference in “soundstage” with Roon on different operating systems then you will probably continue to believe that you hear a difference no matter what hardware is being used.
Since you no longer have a way to test or reproduce what you remember hearing it doesn’t seem like there’s much point to further discussion.
First you say I can not tell the difference in what I am hearing.
Then you call me a liar.
But it’s all good because I know that’s what people do when they are not capable of an intelligent exchange of ideas.
