Welcome to the forum! Have you allowed Roon through the Ubuntu firewall? If Roon is being blocked, then this is expected behavior. Please see:

I might enable firewall on my Ubuntu desktop where my Roon server is installed. The instructions for Linux install mention firewall settings. But they are referred to a somewhat cryptic for me post: Can anyone please post the commands that would enable broadcast rules in Ubuntu’s firewall? I think I know how to open ports but I don’t know what to do with the broadcast/multicast rules. I think Ubuntu uses some “simple firewall” by default, not iptables.

Updated UFW configuration (actual state: Roon 1.8, Build 952)

Guys, I have searched through several cluttered posts of how to configure UFW (I use Ubuntu Server 22.04 LTS) to work reliable. Also, it seems that recent updates of Roon require some additional ports to be opened, which are not listed in most of the current available instructions (I currently run Roon 1.8, Build 952). Excellent advice, thank you. I was missing the 30000:30010/tcp port range. Working perfectly after adding to the UFW.
