Hi @michael_griffiths,

Only Roon server runs on Linux, this is “headless” there is no direct user interface.

The GUI to control Roon is performed via a Roon Control application, this can be installed on a Windows PC, Apple Mac, iPad, iPhone or Android tablet.

You could also run Roon for Windows under WINE as a remote pointing to the RoonServer Core. That means you can start and stop Roon as you please while RoonServer hums away serving up music.

As a user of Roon and Linux, I would really appreciate this function as well. Also if possible lose the systemd dependence… I hate having to use my phone/tablet/emulated windows to use Roon.
