Description of Issue

Hello,
live radio is not playing (properly) anymore, no flac streams they interupt after a few seconds (sectorradio, intense radio). This is for months now, after working fine for years.
Now mp3 streams also begin to stop randomly. What happend? I didn`t change anything.
Please help.
Regards
Joachim

Most likely, there is an underlying networking issue cause these interruptions.

Just to know for other users:

In my case in germany, it seems to be a case of geoblocking, or bandwith problems of the above mentioned stations. Some stations of SOMAFM also wont`t play properly [i.e. Groove Salad]], others do [i.e. Groove Salad Classic].

I tested Sector and intense Radio in the webbrowser and both refused flac play. With a free limited vpn both play stuttering but even longer, so i think it is more likely geoblocking.

I am a big fan of both stations and i would like to hear some ideas or a work aroud to resolve this issue.

Hi @Joachim_Koerth,

I’m going to move this post over to #tinkering where it’s more likely to gain fruitful attention of users with expertise in proxy servers and VPN workarounds for live station unreliability.

That said, should you find that the web browser feeds function and Roon does not, please flag me (@connor) or @support and we’ll move it back to this category for support.
