Local files quickly skipped and playback stops due to failures (ref#W06R4Q)

· The System Output has the same problem as my other Zone.

· I still can't see my endpoints as available Zones.

· Both the device and RoonServer are connecting to a *single router*

· I ran a couple attempts during the quiz. Consider now as a good reference point.

What are the make and model of the affected audio device(s) and the connection type?

· My speakers work fine for computer audio, so I don't think that is relevant

When I try to play anything including local files it will skipp over entire albums rather quickly, and then say that it stopped trying because there were too many failures.

Welcome to the forum and thanks for reaching out with your request! I have enabled diagnostics mode for your account and what this action does is upload a set of logs to our servers for review.

Looking over this log set, I can see that the issue is primarily happening when you try to play to your SteelSeries zone (through System Output), but when SteelSeries is not involved, playback appears to be working as expected.

As a test, if you try to close your SteelSeries Sonar application and try to start playback, does that work as expected? If it does, then this issue could be related to SteelSeries Sonar trying to use Exclusive Mode and holding onto the device, preventing playback from starting in Roon. In the Sonar App, there should also be a way to exclude the device from the exclusive mode, if you give that a try then Roon should be able to utilize the driver.
