Logging out of one core and in to another

Core Machine (Operating system/System info/Roon build number)
Windows 10/latest Roon update

Description Of Issue
I’m temporarily living somewhere else at the beginning of the new year and leaving my computer that is my Roon core behind. With a normal Roon license, can I log out of one core and log in on another that isn’t on the same network? And use my library in the second location if I backed up my music in the first location? Then when I move back, will it let me log back in fine? I obviously won’t be using both cores at the same time.

Hello @Raymond_Zrike and welcome to the forum.

Your absolutely fine doing it the way you described (How many licenses do I need?). You might also want to read and follow the migration guide to setup your new core in the second location.

Hi @Raymond_Zrike,

Yes, that will work! You can change which Core is authorized at any time, so you shouldn’t have any problems here.

As BlackJack suggested, you may want to take a look at our migration guide for details on moving your Roon database from one Core to another.
