Describe the issue

I’m unable to log into Roon. It keeps going through a login request, shows my account and then goes nowhere

Do you have Ad or pop-up blockers active on your web browser? These can interfere with the login process…

Hi Geoff
Thanks for reaching out. I don’t have ad blockers or pop up blockers that I’m aware of. I’m using IOS and Roon is via a Nuc. Interestingly Roon tried to login this morning. It didn’t work, but the little icon came up for a while, whereas in the previous week or two it’s just gone straight back to the login page

Hello @Brian_Good ,

Thanks for reaching out with your report. I am looking over your account diagnostics and it doesn’t look like your ROCK server has been seen for a while. I noticed that you have a Mac as well, do you experience issues logging in when temporarily trying to set up the Mac as the Roon Server?

If the Mac server works properly, you may want to try to reinstall Roon on the ROCK by using the Reinstall button on the Web UI to see if this helps:

Hi Noris and Geoff and anyone paying attention,
This sort of funny/embarrassing, but as I was trying your suggestions and cursing, my wife said “oh shoot, I wonder if that was the device that I blocked?”

Sure enough that was the cause. All sorted.

Thanks for the help and information. I learned a couple of cool things and ultimately the exploration led to a solution:).

Thanks
Brian
