I noticed that with long song titles, the screen doesn’t display it correctly. The last part is missing
Intel Nuc > playing on a denon 2600 > iPad as remote
Something’s not quite right here … the title should be blue, just like the heart. This particular title displays correctly on my iPad (wrapping to a second line.)
Can you confirm the following:
Roon runs on Rock, version 2.1, build 271
Roon server, version 2.0, build 1483
iPad OS, version 18.2
iPad Roon, version 2.0, build 1480
Forgot to check something; what did the file or metadata said?
Went to metadata, seems that roon doesn’t handle the files meta tag correct:
When chosen the file as metadata, Roon displays correctly
Had a restart from the nuc, as the software suggested it. On build version 1490 when it comes to the Roon server software.
With the correct metadata (the one from the file) it displays correct. But it’s not blue. The heart is, the text is not. It is blue in other songs.
Also tried another song with a long title. That one is also blue.
There is no difference in color if I use Roons version of the metadata or my own. So o idea why it’s not blue. Tried several files now, this one seems to be the only white one. It’s that you pointed it out, I didn’t noticed
Not completely sure about this, but I think that it’s only blue when you can click on it. This will then take you to the ‘composed by…’ page.
So probably, when a title is not blue, there is no composer meta data for that track.
You seem to been right Arlen, the blue ones are clickable
Some of the tracks do have composers, but are neither blue nor clickable… odd…
