Anything that supports Chromecast Audio will work. Not sure about other options, though I’ve heard good things about higher end speakers like the LS50W. A Raspberry Pi can make any active speaker Roon ready pretty easily too with Ropieee.

Bluesound Pulse Flex… Its a little marvel. All I had for a weeks holiday and I came to really appreciate it.

Bluesound Pulse Flex … I bought it about a year and a half ago. Really happy with the purchase.

I use a Bluetooth speaker with my iPad as a “receiver “ anything goes then

In my case it’s a Beoplay A1

I have a Bluesound Node 2i as one of my endpoints and am very pleased with the integration, based on that I would agree with the others regarding a Bluesound speaker being a good option.
