No need for sheeting. Just swap the components round so smaller and possibly hotter one is on top.

And for even greater microphonics, place the power supply of the nuc directly over the 2nd order harmonics generatorā€¦ Errā€¦ tube in the DACā€¦ :stuck_out_tongue_winking_eye:

So perhaps coupling rather than decoupling is needed? Valves (tubes) arenā€™t an ā€˜elegant solutionā€™ to anything.

But the DAC has valves whereas the Nucleus has passive cooling.
