several sound drops/crashes with message “ looking for core” since lates update 1.8 B 970

Thanks for taking the time to write in, and welcome to the community! We’re excited to have you here, and also apologize that it was an issue that prompted your first post.

In regards to your audio dropouts:

  1. Is this when using a remote device, or from your core?
  2. Does this happen when playing audio from your system output vs any endpoints?
  3. Have you checked the firewall settings on your core machine?

If you’re running into this issue when trying to play from your remote device, please uninstall Roon, restart the device, and reinstall Roon.
