After the update of MacOS Sequoia (iMac mini M2)I lost my audio sources from Naim. They do not appear at all, only if I reinstall Roon. But after the first shut down of the iMac they disappear again.
Describe your network setup
It is a mesh network and the iMac is connected by wire with the router
Thanks for writing in and sharing your report! I wanted to check in and see if @SandsOfArrakis’s note above was helpful? We’ve seen a handful of security setting hiccups with users who’ve recently upgraded to Sequoia, so it could very well be the culprit.
For additional clarity, is your iMac hardwired to a mesh node within your system, or hardwired directly to your primary router specifically?
Unfortunately the hint did not work in my case. I toggled it off/on and restarted the Mac, but the issue remained.
To you our other question, the Mac is wired to the primary router.
Thanks for the update! Sorry to hear your issues persist.
If you connect the Naim device to the Mac, are you able to see it / connect via the Audio MIDI settings on the Mac, completely bypassing Roon?
If yes, and you set the zone to the system output of the Mac, does playback work?
Lastly, could you reproduce the issue, share the date and time, and then please use the directions found here and send over a set of logs to our File Uploader?
