What’s happening?

· I have a Roon ARC issue not related to connecting to to the server

Describe the issue

Lossy signal quality on ARC

Describe your network setup

1gb fiber -> Unifi CGM -> Mac mini

Additional details:

Source is Qobuz and is FLAC not MP3

Works as lossless on regular Roon

All settings in Arc are for best quality:

Automatically pick best quality - on
Download quality - original format

Happening with multiple albums. Downloads do show up as High Quality.

Check your ARC settings for streaming on WiFi and cell network. You probably have it set to the default, „Additionally pick best quality“ (which doesn’t pick the highest bit rate) or you manually chose „balanced“ and in either case Qobuz does send mp3
