Im saving this back up now. But the playlists is destroyed. So i might have to redo it which going to take a lot of mu time.
You cannot get your Roon system back to what it was unless you did a recent backup. Otherwise, you can only restore it to what it was when you did your latest backup or an earlier backup. This would include your settings and playlist, etc.
Your music files can be re-read into Roon from whereover you have your music files stored outside of Roon.
Ok. I learned my lesson. I panicked because my created audio gustard r26 audio setup was missing with everything from parametric eq speaker setup crossfeed and I didn’t remember what settings were. So I decided to go back to find it but I miss one step. I should’ve saved it before doing that. I had no idea my playlists albums were going to be wiped out. I had huge playlists.
I did a backup and it saved my audio settings. The playlist songs albums is still gone. So i have redo it again. I don’t know why it disappeared. Im not happy about it. It will take a lot of my time to put it on order again.
Because you restored to March 2022. If that’s the latest backup you saved, there is nothing more you can do except go from there. You can’t restore to a condition (point in time) unless you saved it as a backup.
I have my Roon do an automatic backup every night.
