Is your USB disk formatted as NTFS (the Windows file system?)

Hello @francisco_gaston ,

Yes, please confirm the drive format. Is it still working properly on other machines other than the ROCK? In case the external storage is formatted as NTFS:

  • Connect it to a Windows PC
  • Open Command Prompt on a Windows PC
  • Type chkdsk d: /f (assuming windows has assigned the external drive D)
  • Safely eject the drive from Windows task bar (icon may be hidden in the bottom right)
  • Connect drive again to main Roon Server
  • Verify if issue is resolved

Hello @francisco_gaston,

Circling back on this, have you had a chance to confirm the drive format and check whether the disk still works normally on another machine? If it is NTFS, please try the Windows chkdsk check we mentioned, then safely eject it and reconnect it to the ROCK to see whether the storage comes back. If you are still seeing the same behavior, reply with what you found and we can take it from there, thanks.

The hard disk shows correctly in other computers, after re connecting to the NUC it worked fine again
