I lost my top and bottom menu bars with Roon on my Mac mini (it’s totally full screen now). I got the top menu bar fixed, but I can’t get the bottom menu bar fixed. What is the solution? Thanks.
Commmand + B
Command + B in Roon creates a new bookmark ![]()
I’m not aware of a shortcut for fullscreen in Roon on the Mac (if that’s what the OP is looking for, it’s not clear to me). Of course there are the Mac’s buttons on the window title bar.
I have no idea how one would lose Roon’s bottom bar either. Maybe the OP can post a picture
I messaged a local friend (a real person) and they said this
. He’s a Mac user too.
Edit: I messaged him back and he replied with ![]()
He has said Command + Control + F
Ha, Cmd-Ctrl-F indeed toggles fullscreen, I learned something ![]()
You could also place the cursor at the top of the screen and the top menu should appear… then press the (green) button in the menu bar.
I’m a Windows user and the shortcut is listed in Roon’s
> Keyboard Shortcuts. Is it also included in the Mac version of Roon?
I note that both are missing in the Help article. I’ll flag this omission to Roon Labs.
Fullscreen? It’s not listed on the Mac
Ah, OK thanks for this - then it should also be added to the list in the MacOS version of Roon…
Though on the Mac (at least) it’s a system shortcut that…
- works for all apps, no not really “Roon’s problem”
- (edit: well I think, not sure now) can be changed in the Mac’s system settings, so could become in correct in Roon
It’s a system shortcut on Windows as well, just like some of the others, e.g. Ctrl-A to select all…
Also when you pull out the left menu there’s a three dot selection to the right of the gear icon. Selecting the three dots provides an option to toggle full screen.
Here, (Mac mini M1) also no “Enter full screen”.
