Had all setup and working until last week when my windows system crashed by hardware defect.
Now I am here with a new mother board and a blank C:\drive . Music is still on other drive.
Installed roon again but it refuses to work as a new core, telling me I have allready one core installed.
Yes I had a roon core, but this no longer exists. I have a monthly subscription.
How do I proceed from here ?
You should be able to unauthorize your old core as you are logging into your new core. Use a recent backup of your old Roon core to restore your new core. You need to tell your new Roon core where your “watched” music folder is located.

Hi all,
I somehow managed to get everything back to normal, but don’t ask me how
Found a roon backup and from there on with some hiccups all started to work again.
Thanks to all
