I’ve just set up Roon in last week. I wanted to listen “Satellite of Love” Live.

But it’s on a DVD not a CD… That’s a problem…Then overnight I wondered if there is a way to burn a DVD to flac so I can play it on my HifI.

Thanks Google. I have burnt to flac. Tagged the files manually and now enjoying!!!

There are programs like DVD Audio extractor for ripping DVD soundtracks that work well. I have done this for DVD’s Christy Moore, Steve Marriott etc.

Here is the link to program Chris suggested. I used it to convert my stereo, and multichannel DVDs and DVD-As to flac.
