Loud announcement that connection has been established through Chromecast Audio

Windows 10, i7 laptop, Roon 1.7 (I don’t know how to find the build number)

Network Details (Including networking gear model/manufacturer and if on WiFi/Ethernet)

Wifi 2.4ghz

Audio Devices (Specify what device you’re using and its connection type - USB/HDMI/etc.)

Chromecast Audio

Description Of Issue

When starting up roon after it is idle for a while, in the morning, for example. I get a loud “jingle” announcement that connection has been established through the speakers. How do I “mute” that?

I think you can disable that in the Google Home app.

Open the Chromecast Audio device in the Home app and hit the cog icon for settings, its called something like ‘playback sounds’
